Its my pleasure to have you here at our wedding website.  I feel like letting myself out of the bag as it concerns few things about us.  Your ears are open baby!  Yeh keep it open please.  You may like to hear few things that will please your ear.  Curious? Yes!  Let us go…But wait here do we start. Em, em lets tell them how we started.  That seems good baby!.  Boy but that’s is a em em s e c r e….  No lets tell them how we met.  Okay by me girl.
Everybody where were you the year January 1999?  Something was happening behind you.  It was at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses were we met first met.  On one cool evening of Thursday I was handling a very serious assignment of listening at the Christian meeting.  This made me sat at the front of the row.  During audience participation on the service meeting program I had a voice from the audience that sounded strange to my ear.  I turned and behold it was Nelly.  I said to myself ‘baby you got to see this sister after the meeting program’.  I met her at the gate after the meeting called her by name and asked are you a student of University of Nigeria Enugu campus (UNEC)? She said ‘no I am only staying there with my relatives who are not one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.’  Then I said ‘oh you are welcome.  I am Omaka and I stay here at the Kingdom Hall as one of the caretaker though a student of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), would you mind if I take you a ‘peg or two”?  She accepted this I did.  (Don’t ask me what we discussed though).  Most often we have the privilege of walking in field ministry together and during each of these moments we have pleasant talks about how wonderful the Jehovah has been to each one of us personally.  But each time it often always climax with what would be your future carrier.  We introduced ourselves to our families by letter writings.  That same year we both had the opportunity of traveling to Makurdi together for a circuit assembly where my parents too attended.  She had the opportunity of getting to know my family and other family friends.  We both attended a District Convention at Ibakwa Nike in Enugu.  There I collected the Bethel application form and the MTS form.  But to be very sincere I was down reluctant of filling it let alone sending it.  She got to know of this and persuaded me of filling it.  She kept disturbing, disturbing like a pest that I finally had to consent and sent it by mid 2000.  She finally worn. Ladies are terrible.  By September 2000 I was invited as a temporary worker for a month.  I was still reluctant of coming.  Neither did I inform her of my invitation.  However, somehow a circuit Overseer (A. M. Legede) got to know of this.  He asked me to get prepared.  I gave him excuses upon excuses, telling him I don’t have money for transportation, I don’t have this, I don’t have that.  On the night before the day I was to leave he called me and spoke to me at length, persuading me of going that I will not be asked to leave after a month.  He gave me 2,000 naira for transportation.  Finally he too worn.  That was how I happen to be here in bethel serving Jehovah with my energy.  Its pleasant I must tell you, seeing how much Jehovah values my littleness.  Well the year 2001 made a change in our lives.  Nelly visited bethel.  On this visit I asked her hand in marriage.  She could not believe it.  She said ‘I thought after you left Enugu all about us was to end.  I am amazed that you are such faithful.’  That was how I made arrangement of visiting the family my first time at a convention at Mgboko.  Since then we have been stuck together carrying each other’s load as it were.  She truly has been a source of encouragement to me.  She actually stuck with me during difficult times especially when I lost my elder Sister.  She was more than just a friend.  She was a sister.
